The Second Patons Country Steam Festival was held on 6 and 7 May 2006

The second annual steam festival proved to be a much bigger affair with the introduction of a 10km race, a 5 km walk, the participation of the local schools and a number of extra train rides and the opening of Stainton Siding for refreshments. The festival was run over 2 days

Ben Coetzee from Sappi handing out prizes for the 10 km run.
